All I want for Christmas is…Anybody! The ongoing Saga of Holiday Loneliness in Dallas & Fort Worth

It may be time to change the lyrics of the classic holiday song to “All I want for Christmas is….ANYBODY!” Because it turns out that that 70% of people in the U.S. have reported feeling various degrees of loneliness heading into the holiday season, with more than 10% reporting extreme loneliness. That’s according to Mental Health First Aid dot org (https://www.mentalhealthfirstaid.org/2021/12/loneliness-how-to-cope-during-the-holiday-season/#:~:text=In%20fact%2C%20a%202020%20survey,people%20experience%20it%20varies%20widely.)

According to Celeste Hackett at Family First Hypnosis, “There are two kinds of loneliness. The first one comes from not being able to connect with those close to you, the second is far more important, and it is due to not being able to connect with yourself. This leaves you feeling lost, unfulfilled and yes, desperately lonely. That type of estrangement usually springs from problems and perceptions very early in life”.

One of the great things about loneliness is that it responds rapidly to 5-Path Hypnosis ®, the criteria based, methodical Hypnosis modality that allows deep, thorough, exhaustive access to the subconscious where the roots of both of those types of loneliness lie. Celeste has been a leading force in 5-Path Hypnosis ® for almost two decades and, frequently mentors other Hypnotists, and formerly instructs other 5-Pathers at Symposiums and conventions.

Loneliness not only impacts one’s mental health, but can manifest itself physically in stress related conditions in the body, in the aforementioned Mental Health First Aid dot Org article, researchers have said loneliness and social isolation can be as damaging to physical health as smoking 15 cigarettes daily.

Celeste confirms this – “Loneliness subconsciously drives a number of problems, especially seen in cases of bad habits and addictions. All of which can be exacerbated by holiday stress.  When the whole world is trying to come together to celebrate peace, love and joy, and you just can’t connect? It’s sadly a terrible time of the year for the truly lonely.”

However, there is hope with Hypnosis, Entrepreneur dot com had an article called “The Truth About Loneliness During the Holidays and 5 Tips For Coping” (https://www.entrepreneur.com/living/5-tips-for-coping-and-understanding-holiday-loneliness/440954) and their number three tip is perhaps the most insightful on finally ridding oneself of loneliness, it’s to practice self-care.

In her practice as a Board-Certified Hypnotist, Celeste not only deals with the misconceptions, traumas and conflicts that have lodged and created problems in her client’s subconscious by neutralizing and releasing those troublesome issues. She also teaches every client a powerful form of self-hypnosis, a kind of anti-virus software system for the mind. What better form of self-care is there than knowing how to program yourself for the rest of your life?

Celeste offers free 30-minute telephone consultations multiple times every week.  Just go to https://www.familyfirsthypnosis.com/schedule and chose a time that’s convenient to you. You’ll get to chat with Celeste about your problem with no pressure or obligation.
