Overview of How Hypnosis Can Help with Anxiety and Depression
Hypnosis is a state of focused relaxation that helps clients access deeper, subconscious parts of their minds. People naturally enter a hypnotic state from time to time, so they sometimes experience ‘aha’ moments or times of clarity that help them feel more relaxed or in control. Through consulting hypnosis, clients can be guided into this productive state and go much deeper than therapy, getting results in a much faster, more sustainable way. This is because the hypnotic state allows the subconscious to target the underlying causes of stress, habits, and fears exactly.
Through her proprietary hypnosis work—helps clients address the root causes of their feelings of anxiety or depression. While it is not a replacement for traditional mental health treatment, consulting hypnosis is usually faster. It goes deeper, motivating clients to identify aspects of their lives that are not readily available during traditional therapy. The ability to do this is entirely under the control of the client and helps them develop tools to manage their emotions much more effectively.

What is Anxiety?
Anxiety can refer to feelings of stress, worry, and fear, which sometimes significantly impact daily life. Consulting hypnosis can help clients uncover the root causes of their anxiety and stress, which indirectly resolves these issues, often on the spot. In addition, hypnotists offer a supportive environment where clients can begin learning techniques to sustain good feelings even after sessions are over. Hypnosis is not a substitute for mental health treatment, but it often is seen as an even more powerful tool in this journey.
What is Depression?
Depression often involves ongoing feelings of sadness, loneliness, emptiness, and a lack of motivation. Consulting hypnosis helps clients explore the root causes of these feelings, offering a tool for addressing personal challenges and negative thought patterns. While hypnosis is not a treatment for depression, it can help clients work through emotional blocks faster than many treatments when the right practitioner is used, and this helps clients form healthier habits and more optimistic perspectives.

Hypnosis for Anxiety
How Hypnosis Helps
Hypnosis allows clients to relax and engage their subconscious mind, where they can explore the root causes of their anxiety. Most clients are surprised that they don’t even have to have a good memory. The subconscious mind is like a computer, and it can target precise mental data that is being triggered and make it un-triggerable, resulting in feeling so much better even if you don’t have a great memory. Celeste works with clients to develop strategies for managing anxious feelings, including building new habits and reframing negative thoughts.
The Process
Typically, through a series of five sessions, clients become not only comfortable with hypnosis, but are able to review moments that generated their emotions and memories in a detached way, so working on these issue feels much more comfortable than traditional therapies, In addition, working on releasing guilt, shame, or other emotions that may fuel their anxiety clients feel free of the weight of these burdens. Celeste helps clients build tools to address their anxiety long-term.

Fear of Flying
We are going back to Corpus next month to meet the new baby who arrived this past weekend. We are actually planning on flying...it was even my idea and I booked the tickets! While I Had never been afraid of flying in my life, during the past year or so, I had found myself more sensitized to it and fearing it. With my new nephew here and more trips in my future, 1 just figured that 1 might as well rip the band-aid off! While I know that things are not 100% perfect, they are better and will continue to improve. Thanks again for your help!

MY PERSONAL STRENGTH AND SELF-ESTEEM HAS RETURNED
My husband and I had been happily married for several years but began having problems that eventually resulted in betrayal. We made the decision to try to work things out and felt that our love for each other was still strong. However, my anger with him did not seem to subside no matter what I tried and my self esteem suffered as well. I tried counseling, read many books, attended a support group, talked to family and friends but could never seem to fully let go and get on the path to recovery. A lady in my support group recommended Family First Hypnosis and I decided to give it a try.
