Do you have trouble setting boundaries with family and friends. Sometimes if we get a little shock from someone calling us on our thinking it can help, especially when we are in a hypnotic state. This interaction I’ve had with many a client (including myself) may help you. Pretend you are my client and know that I only have the best of intentions for your happiness. Even though I am a little tough here.
I do feel for practitioners who deal with weight loss. It can be quite tricky. Many things can cause weight problems. For years my overweight clients would tell me they were just hungry all the time. They just couldn’t stop snacking or overeating at meals. Some had trouble with the types of food they kept choosing. Others, couldn’t limit themselves in the evenings or when out at restaurants.
Most of the important and urgent needs you give in to, from others, are really just excuses to fail at making your own life fulfilling. You might feel so empty and lonely that your heart and stomach aches. You might hate yourself for doing something once again that you promised you wouldn’t do. You might feel ashamed and stupid. You might feel like no one will ever love you. You might feel so physically sick or tired that you don’t want to go on but don’t give up.
She just slept all the time. She was 13 years old and her parents couldn’t rouse her to get her up for school. Several doctors and specialists were consulted, but nothing seemed to help. Googling desperately, they found hypnosis as an unexplored option, and then me.
Can you hype yourself up? Can you get your self to do something with exciting self talk? Are you aware that the ability to hype your mind is one thing that is making you fat?
Check out my interview with a recent client who was having trouble at work.
“I have to admit; I can’t say that God has been scientifically proven to me either”, I answered back. “The way I look at it, though, is I want to believe things that make me feel better. You, by the way, do the same thing.”
