Are you having a Panic attack? If so, then you might want to read very closely. Panic attacks can be completely resolved. You do not have to continue to suffer with them. That’s right, Numerous people have completely overcome panic attacks for good, and very quickly. But, many medical and mental health practitioners, unfortunately, would give you pause to think otherwise.
Your heart is racing, your breath is short, you’re trembling and you feel like you’re dying. What on earth is happening to you? Popular culture tends to dismiss panic attacks as silly events for weak people, or the idea of panic attacks may be used for comedic effect in movies or on TV, but to those who actually suffer from panic attacks, they are no laughing matter.
According to Harvard University, Women are twice as likely to suffer panic attacks than men, and if you have a close relative who has experienced panic attacks, then you are four to eight times more likely to develop them than people with no family history of the problem. The Harvard studies also show that on average, the panic attack symptoms for an individual start at around age 25, but that they can start and affect people of all ages – (https://www.health.harvard.edu/a_to_z/panic-disorders-a-to-z).
Medical professionals who work in the ER at Hospitals frequently see patients who are convinced they are having a heart attack, stroke or some other life-threatening illness when they are actually having a panic attack. That’s because according to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, – “Due to the intensity of the symptoms and their tendency to mimic those of heart disease, thyroid problems, breathing disorders and other illnesses, people with panic disorder often make many visits to emergency rooms or doctors’ offices, convinced they have a life-threatening issue” (https://adaa.org/understanding-anxiety/panic-disorder-agoraphobia/symptoms).
Once you are diagnosed with a panic attack, that can stress you out even more and can actually trigger more fear bringing on the likelihood of future panic attacks. The diagnosis of “panic disorder” can also lead to an expensive ever-increasing cycle of unnecessary talk therapy, counseling and psychometric drugs which may affect your cognitive abilities and your health.
So, what to do? Well, it’s best to find out what is actually causing a panic attack. I mean, doesn’t that just make good sense? You need to find someone who can uncover the root cause that’s been invoked in the first place, but this someone also needs to have the talent to help you effectively deal with (overcome) it.
There are many internal things that can drive this problem such as automatic patterns of thought and feelings buried deep in the subconscious. It can be surprising how small the seed cause of this problem can be. For example, one of my recent clients had the smallest fear when left alone in a high chair as a small child. This, surprisingly, was the internal beginning which later developed into panic attacks.
Getting into the subconscious, accessing these small seeds, those directly related to your problem and getting the correct insight to un-plant those seeds will break the panic attack cycle. You will love the relief of finally being done with the whole thing. You will be able to get on with your life. Clients tell me when this problem is gone it is like a weight has been lifted.
Finding and neutralizing that root cause is something that a 5- Path® Hypnotist is trained to do and is actually the fundamental difference between a very experienced 5-Pather® and a lesser trained Hypnotist.
